Further to studying at Central St Martin's School of Art & The Royal College of Art, both in London, I have continued on a creative path making paintings, prints & designing greetings cards. An d on occasions, teaching adults and children.

I have been involved in both abstract and figurative work, being particularly fascinated by nests. This perfect form of nature. The poetic and ancient. Primal, timeless and heartbreaking in beauty.
Seeing a nest always makes me catch my breath in wonderment. The unnatural modern world put right again in one breath.

Then, I'd not realised until quite recently that I have also been for some time, trying to paint the wind or in other words, energy.

I absolutely cannot imagine there being no wind.
Imagine no movement; an impossible thought.
An essential language for me. A life force. Energy. An absolute mystery to surrender to. The Trees and the Wind were made for each other.

My work often seems to be a push and pull between abstract and figurative. Go with the flow, see where it leads.

Cards have been stocked in Liberty, Fortnum & Mason and Fenwick all in London, along currently with a Cambridge gallery.
A selection are on sale at Anorak; 21 Market Place, Olney, MK46 4BA www.anorakshop.com
I am also wanting to export.
The cards are all printed from my hand drawn / painted  / printed original designs and then brought to litho print. There are various designs suitable for many occasions and general correspondence. All cards are blank inside for personal message.  I also make handmade one offs.
